Mike Radford was born in Kamloops in 1958. His family relocated to Prince George where he finished secondary school and went on to study Fine Arts at the College of New Caledonia.
From 1983 - 1987 he studied in the Studio and Commercial Arts programmes at Capilano College in North Vancouver. During this time, he was fortunate to study under many of British Columbia's finest painters. Here he developed his skill and love for watercolour.
Mike works almost exclusively in watercolour and chooses a variety of subjects to paint. Travel in such exotic locations as Mexico, Cuba and India has inspired many of Mike's watercolours. His home province of BC continues to provide him with beautiful subject matter to paint.
